Powerfax Magazine Elliott Company (Gas Turbine Issue Autumn 1945)
1 Powerfax Magazine Elliott Company (Gas Turbine Issue Autumn 1945)
Jeannette, PA Elliott Company 1945 Vo. XXIII, No. 3 soft cover Very good
Crisp, tightly bound magazine completely devoted to one topic -- aspects of the gas turbine. Measures 7-3/4"x10-1/2" and has 31 pages. Only fault is a small bit of smudging to lower corner of first page and toning to the margins, also at that corner. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, drawings, and a graph. Aspects of subject include gas turbines versus other prime movers; background for gas turbines; discussion of engineering problems in gas turbine development; manufacturing problems in construction; heat supply for gas turbines; and future applications.

The Playbill for the St. James Theatre Without Love, 1942 Katharine Hepburn)
2 The Playbill for the St. James Theatre Without Love, 1942 Katharine Hepburn)
New York Playbill Inc. 1942 Soft cover Good condition
What a great cover graced by a photo of the beautiful Katharine Hepburn and Elliott Nugent who starred in the play "Without Love", a new comedy by Philip Barry. The Playbill was for the week of December 6, 1942. Lots of Christmas ads in this one, the best of which is a two page spread for Camel cigarettes and Prince Albert tobacco. Program measures 7" x 9-1/2" and has 44 pages. Only real fault is small dampstain on the lower margin of the back cover and a small closed tear to front. Overall nice.

Souvenir Album Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris 1968, Jacques Brel
3 Jacques Brel Souvenir Album Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris 1968
New York City Hill and Range Songs Inc. 1968 Card cover Very Good condition
This is not a program or a picture book of stills throughout, but I do have a Jacques Brel program on here at this writing. The booklet I have now is about the music. It measures 9" x 12" and has 40 pages with black and white photos of the original cast --Elly Stone, Mort Shuman, Shawn Elliott, and Alice Whitfield. The book also has three parts, the first of which are the songs with lyrics and music --Amsterdam, The Desperate Ones, Fanette, I Loved, If We Only Have We Loved, Jackie, Old Fols, Sonms of ..., and Timid Frieda. The second part provides lyrics only for The Bulls, Funeral Tango, Mathilde, My Death, Next, and You're Not Alone. The last part shows the photos of the original cast.

United Kingdom Ministry of Defence 1994 May 30/June 13, 1994 Soft cover Soft cover
This magazine isn't easily found. I have never had one before now and am impressed with the many articles and very good pictures. Most of them cover the history of D-Day and the experiences of soldiers. The magazine measures 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" with 82 pages.
