Bermuda Houses and Gardens (1973)
1 Bermuda Houses and Gardens (1973)
Bermuda The Garden Club of Bermuda 1973 Second edition Card Cover Good-plus
This is an oversized booklet measuring 9" x 12" with 81 clean, tightly bound pages. The only faults are some toning to a few areas of the white back cover and former owner's name and address in upper front corner of first page. The booklet is lavishly illustrated with black and white photographs of the interiors and exteriors of some of the island's most stunning residences at the time of writing, many of which were already 300 years old! Very handsomely presented on quality coated paper.

The Vermonter Magazine 1903 (Twelve Issues -- Full Run)
2 The Vermonter Magazine 1903 (Twelve Issues -- Full Run)
St. Albans, Vermont C.S. Forbes 1903 soft cover Good to Very Good Very good
Twelve issues -- a full run of this historic Vermont magazine for the year 1903. All are clean and tightly bound with the following faults: chipping to the bottom edge of front cover of one, browning to edges of white cover of another, light fading to cover edges of all of the brightly colored covers, and wrinkling to first page of the issue with the chipping which we were able to flatten in book press. Interiors of some shows toning to paper at edges and one has a snip missing off corner of one page. Among the topics covered are: Catholics, Protestants, Jews , Unitarians and Universalists in Vermont; Vermont's military history to date; History of Vermont's medicine and surgery; the scenic attractions of Vermont; Vermont's educational history; dedications of memorials in Fairfield and Stowe; the town of Bradford; China at War with the World written in two parts; and the Vermont State Grange. Also, nice is the spotlight on Vermont's fair women. Magazines measure 7-1/4"x10-1/4". Other early issues available.

Two very handsome booklets oversized at 8-1/2"x11". No date, but circa 1930's. Both are clean and well-kept, but part II shows one small stain to lower front corner of cover by spine (see photo). Christie's Interiors Auction Catalog 27-18 January, 2015, Haslam, Nicky
4 Haslam, Nicky Christie's Interiors Auction Catalog 27-18 January, 2015
South Kensington, England Christie's Auction 2015 Soft cover Near fine condition
From a distance this auction catalog made me think it was a magazine named Interiors. It isn't, but it's full of outlandishly expensive items for the home from furniture to accessories and art. The catalog is oversized at 9-1/2" x 13" and has 120 pages, plus a few back matter pages. All the photos are in color and are nicely described. Before the final gavel went down 820 items had been up for bidding. Nicky Haslam, who is the gentleman on the couch, is an interior designer. The first few pages were hints from him for creating a beautiful home.

Interiors: North Carolina Museum of Art, September 17-December 3, 2000, Paschal, Huston
5 Paschal, Huston Interiors: North Carolina Museum of Art, September 17-December 3, 2000
North Carolina North Carolina Museum of Art 2000 First Edition Card cover Fine catalog Very good dust jacket
Beauty, surprise, joy and fear are some of the responses to the the over-riding theme of Interiors by the artists who created this catalog. Each one brought something different -- a colorful parlor, a pretty closet in Cape May, the inside of two cars,a dollhouse, a Nazi death camp and more. Works are all in color throughout unless the scene required darkness. The catalog is designed with a gray card cover and a nice cream color dust jacket which shows just a few small light marks. Catalog measures 6" x 9" and has 58 pages. Appears unread and is a thing of beauty.
