Booklet is illustrated with black and white photos from the movie and measures 6" x 9" with 15 pages of text. It appears to be part of a collection of booklets telling the stories of romantic films. Riverside, California Don Shay 1996 soft cover Very Good
Very handsome magazine, a quarterly devoted to the technology and artistry behind the movies we love. The big story in this one is terrific, as it offers many pages of text and color photographs which explain the pyrotechnics of the film, Independence Day. How they made The Nutty Professor is also fun, as is the puppetmasters of Pinocchio and even a commercial -- Nikes Eyes on the Ball ad. Magazine measures 8"x9" and has 154 pages on quality coated paper

9 Friday Magazine July 11, 1941 (Ann Sheridan, Windjammers, Poll Tax, Sorcery)
New York City Friday Inc. 1941 Volume 2, number 23 soft cover Good-plus
Beautiful cover art featuring the lovely actress, Ann Sheridan. The magazine is not too common and is clean and tightly bound, though it does have a few faults. I repaired the spine at top and bottom and a few tiny edge tears at back with almost invisible archival tape which is holding well. The only ther is a bit of brownign to lower back cover (see photo). Magazien is huge at 10-1/2" x 13-1/2". Story topics include Ann sheridan, FDR and poll tax, windjammers, guerilla doctors of Shensi, and sorcery.

Mickey Mouse Film 1415-B High Speed Mickey; Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse & Silly Symphony Cartoons
12 Mickey Mouse Film 1415-B High Speed Mickey; Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse & Silly Symphony Cartoons
Hollywood, California Walt Disney Productions circa 1940's Very good
Box is very cute which is what caught my eye, but the reel of film inside seems to be in very good condition too. The disk around which it is spooled is made of metal with no label. The box shows wear to lower corner, but is clean and still closes properly. There is no date, but research generated an ad in a 1946 Popular Mechanics magazine touting Disney's Mickey movies, of which this one, #1415B, was mentioned. The back of the box shows a penciled price of $3 and $3.00 was the asking price in the ad. Box measures 3-3/4" square.

If you love old movies these vintage Year Books are great fun. This issue has 1000 pictures, hundreds of which are candids. This issue contains Jane Powell, Scott Brady, Esther Williams, Alan Ladd, Judy Garland, Mona Freeman, Elizabeth Taylor and Barbara Hale. There are also stories about who got married, who made their film debut and stars around the globe. As always, the paper has toned due to high acididty, but the magazine is clean and tightly bound.
