4 Kewpies In Kewpieville A Paper Doll Book (Six Stand-up Kewpies) 1966

What a cute book this one is featuring the charming little kewpies and their extensive wardrobe. There's three dolls that pop out of the front cover and three more that pop out of the back. None of the five pages of cute duds require cutting either -- just pop! -- and they're ready for play. Real Photo Postcard Smiling Group Young Man with Two Dolls
8 Real Photo Postcard Smiling Group Young Man with Two Dolls
AZO Very Good
This is a most interesting group of people. Every one of them is SMILING which was not too common. The older woman in the white blouse has her arms around the two people next to her and the young girl next to the guy with the dolls is looking across at the older woman. If I were to guess I'd say the lady to the far right is Grandma, the older woman in the white blouse is her daughter and the two young adults are the daughter's kids. Note that both "kids" have their legs stretched out in front of them. The young man is wearing a hat and for some reason is laughing and holding two odd dolls. The other mystery is the date because AZO's name with four triangles facing up in the corners of the postage box indicates that the date is unknown.

This is a British famous doll house, much like that of the American one made by Colleen Moore. Both are elegant and beautifully designed and crafted. The booklet measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and has 72 pages illustrated with large photographs in black and white. the text is quite good, as detail each room. At the time of this booklet the doll house was on display permanently in Windsor Castle.

Souvenir Indian Baby Doll Estes Park, Colorado 1940's (Hang Tag with Postage and Address)
10 Souvenir Indian Baby Doll Estes Park, Colorado 1940's (Hang Tag with Postage and Address)
Maker unknown 1948 Good-plus
What a cute little souvenir from Estes Park, Colorado. I had one before years ago and was amazed that it came unwrapped with just a hang-tag for the address and the postage. This one's exactly the same with the same three cent stamp. The doll was glued to a piece of cardboard to resemble a Native American cradle board. Together doll and board measure approximately 4", as does the tag. One side of the tag says From Estes Park, Colorado and the other side bears an address to someone at Lodi Hospital in Lodi, Ohio. There's a postmark, but I had to get a magnifier to read the date which is 1948. Very cute.

What a beautiful souvenir of the 47th Annual United Federation of Doll Clubs held August 4-9, 1996 in Dallas, Texas. Also included is a small card which explains the souvenir doll that was also produced. The book measures 5-1/2"x7-1/2". Very unique!

A Friend Paper Doll (1967), Anglund, Joan Walsh
12 Anglund, Joan Walsh A Friend Paper Doll (1967)
USA Boucher Associates 1967 Box Good condition
Joan Walsh Anglund was a huge hit in the 60's and 70's and still has a following today. I have sold several of her sweet little books and have a couple on here at this writing. This, however, is not a book. It's a paper doll with 12 outfits none of which have been cut. The dolls and her clothes are in great shape, the scissors is still there, and so is the stand. The only thing missing is a small tube of glue which would be dried out anyway if were there. The doll is 5" tall. The box itself measures 5-3/4" x 6". There's a few nicks here and there to the box, mostly at the edges, but not too bad. Overall this is a nice collectible

Linnea in Monet's Garden with Doll, Bjork, Christina
13 Bjork, Christina Linnea in Monet's Garden with Doll
New York R&S Books 1991 9129583144 / 9789129583144 Fifth pritning Hard cover Very good condition Very good distjacket
Beautiful book with such charming color art made it very hard to select just five pictures. This book was something of a phenomenon back in the late 80's. It's the story of the great Impressionist painter, Claude Monet, and a little girl named Linnea who loved Monet's pink house, his pond of lily pads, and his Japanese bridge. The book measures 7" x 9-1/2" with 53 pages and a matching dustjacket which looks beautiful in a brand new mylar cover. But the best part is the Linnea doll which even retains its hang tag. Linnea measures 11" tall and is clean and cute.

Kathe Kruse Book
16 No Author Stated Kathe Kruse Book "I Will Hand" (Toy Manufacture Since 1911)
Germany KK Produktions 2011 Hard cover Fine condition
Try as I might I can't find out if this pristine little white book had a dustjacket. I'm guessing yes, but I don't know for sure. The book is basically an introduction to this brand of toys, dolls, and fashion which has been in the marketplace since 1911. The date is not stated, but the brand began in 1911 and the book calls it a hundred year brand. Book measures 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" and has 48 counted pages including several double spreads of art pages. Book is not for kids and has no story line -- it's focus is to inform the consumer (in ENGLISH) about the company and its history and philosophy. It is particularly of interest to doll and toy collectors.
