Mexico By Motor
1 Mexico By Motor
American Automobile Association 1950 soft cover
Great graphic cover art and a whopping 192 pages of information and vintage advertising makes this a worthy addition to the travel ephemera collection. More than a brochure -- practically a book. Measures 4-1/2"x9-1/4" and is illustrated amply with maps and black and white photographs. Very clean and well kept with just a little cluster of small spots to back cover.

New York McGraw Hill 1964 Second Edition Hard cover Very good condition
Bright red cover is pristine and book is tightly bound. Very interesting to peruse the dense text which covers Mexican history, geography, literature, art, cinema, music, dancing, folklore, the Corridas and a calendar of festivities. But that's just Part I. Part II provides itineraries and means of access from the United States. There are also two large maps bound-in, one at front and one at back, both clean and not torn. Guide book measures 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" and has 434 pages

4 Jose ManuelMateo Migrant: The Journey of a Mexican Worker
New York Abrams Books for Younger Readers 2011 4225 First printing Hard cover Fine condition Javier Martinez Pedro
The artistic design of this item is beautiful and unique, but the design also speaks to the story and the long trek of a young boy who tells of how he and his family become immigrants walking for miles and miles from home. The text is in an accordian style which is perfect for reminding th reader of how long a walk can be. After reading he boy's words the accordian goes back to its beginning and the boards can be tied with the ribbons provided. The "book" measures 6-1/2" x 12-1/2". very clean and nice with no defect of note.
