The main story in this issue is The Mystery Man of the Pentagon which turns out to be Wilford James McNeil, comptroller of the Defense Department. Johansen and leprosy in Louisiana; the big problem in France best known as "The sick man of Europe"; The Crucifixion by Fulton J. Sheen; and a look at the cabin Dwight Eisenhower built for his golf vacations, though for some reason it's called Mamie's cabin. There are also two short stories by famous authors. Seoul, Korea National Museum of Korea 2007 Volume 01 Premier 2007 Card cover Near fine condition
Very clean and tightly bound journal with just a tiny tear to top of spine which I reglued and is holding well. This is a heavy magazine measuring 8-3/4" x 12" pronted on substantial paper. No numbering of pages, but they measure 1/2" thick. Articles include: The Bronze culture of Korea; The Life and Art of Kim Hong-do; The Influence of Baekje on Ancient Japan; The Architectural Theories and Planning Concepts of Seongyojang; Goryeo Celadon in Japan; and A Prospective on the History of Korean Portrait Painting. Nicely illustrated -- a very sophisticated publication. English language.
