Title: Postcard Wright's Trading Post Albuquerque 1919
Book Condition: Very good
Seller ID: 0260
This card was republished later by a bookstore, but this is the early one. There's a nice description on the back, but the postmark obscures it a bit. Basically it says that the trading post was a "headquarters for Indians and their curios" located in a three story building modeled after Indian architecture. A Navajo sweat house is next to it where the Medicine man cured the sick. Card was sent to Francis Russell of Minerva, Ohio from New Mexico. The message on the divided back reads, "June 4, '19. I am feeling OK. Will leave 10:15 tonight for El Paso. Get there at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Weather better, but not very warm yet. Hope all are well. With love, Dad.
