This is as good as a postcard gets -- very crisp and clean with sharp corners and no names or writing on the divided back. It does have a one cent stamp affixed, but was never mailed. The hotel opened in 1926, so if it were an early card it would have had a 2 cent stamp as prices raised briefly from 1925 to 1928. The hotel, a 22 story building, was named after President William Howard Taft and located on 7th Avenue at 50th Street. The Taft was Time Square's largest hotel with 2000 rooms. Card will arrive in brand new plastic sleeve.
