This is a spectacular catalogue/guide -- big in ideas and big in the number of pages, 96 of text, plus 31 vibrant color ads at the back and 30 at the front. The story of the festival is told by Ian Cox in a lengthy text. The festival was all about contemporary design and bright color. Millions of people (international) thronged to the south bank of the Thames. In addition to what was at the main site there were other areas of London to offer more wonders. Among the exhibits were the Dome of Discovery, architecture, pleasure gardens, industrial power, science and much more. Catalog measures 7-1/4"x 9-1/2" and is clean and tightly bound with no names or writing. Not often found.
