The Freese family originated in England and came to New England first and then on to Cleveland which may be because many other families did likewise because Cleveland is part of the Western Reserve. The three authors of this booklet are all great-grandsons of Abraham Freese. The other booklet is the Fries Family Miscellany with data from Berks Colunty, Pennsylvania and Surrounding Counties. There are 13 variants in this smaller book. They are Fries, Frees, Fris, Freis, Fress, Freas, Vris, Frais, Freess, Freese, Tries, Freiess and Frisz. Both items measure 8-1/2" x 11". The larger booklet has 78 pages and the small one has seven. All are clean a with no writing. There are also photos primarily of men.
