The colorful art on the front cover caught my eye, especially since it's tipped-in rather than being completely pasted. The blue paper of the cover is very soft and unusual -- almost feels like fabric. Pages are printed on heavy cream paper except for those with illustrations -- pictures are on quality coated paper. All of the nautical scenes inside are tinted blue. The booklet measures 6-1/4"x9-1/4" and has 31 pages. Faults include a tiny closed tear to side edge of front cover, a tiny crease to the lower corner of the front cover, and a flat crease at the bottom of the last page. Much history, but also interesting stories of the famous ship and her commander, Edward Preble.
