This is an unusual offering, a 3" metal Southern Railroad sign which had been a premium for Post cereals back in the 1950's and was paired by a collector with a color postcard showing the Southern's first Mikado built by Baldwin in 1911. It' shown here near Markham, Virginia during an NRHS trip over the Southern Manassas Branch, September 6, 1966. the card is crisp, clean and unused. The sign shows some small dings, but over all is quite good. Other such pairings available.
