Magazine has been cleaned by me and a short area at top of spine has been repaired, also by me, with almost invisible archival tape to keep it from worsening. There is still some soil to cover, but overall this is a nice, tightly bound piece. It's a large one too measuring 9"x12". The big story to me was the launch of the first muzzleloading shooting matches at Portsmouth, Ohio, an event which also launched the rebirth of shooting black powder firearms as a sport. Other topics include woodchuck hunting, the Super-X. cartridges, the new Bausch & Lomb Spottong Scope, and much more. 52 pages
