Very nice clean magazine with just two faults -- a little foxing to bottom margin on reverse side of cover and the mailing label at front. Otherwise it's tightly bound and attractive. Measures 10-1/2"x13". The issues from the WWII era are especially good -- many color ads with a military theme and a military cover. This cover features General Jonathan Wainwright, Commander of U.S. Forces on Bataan Peninsula March 18-May 6, 1942 when he was taken as a prisoner of war in Formosa. There's an article inside about it. Other interesting articles include Presidential predictions for 1944; the opium boats, sinister "pleasure ships" which sailed from Hong Kong before the Japanese were at war, but ultimately revealed Japan's silent weapon; and life behind barbed wire. There are also a number of short stories, including one from the very popular, Faith Baldwin,
