All items in this three piece lot concern the same topic which required the ministrations of the Republican senator from Maine in 1962, Margaret Chase Smith. It began with a request for a pass to the Senate Gallery by a man from Maine who had the endorsement of their mutual friend. Ralph Lovell. Smith responded affirmatively in a typed letter which was also signed and included this brochure which reads Sen, Margaret Chase Smith Welcomes You to your Nation's Capitol. The last item is the gallery pass requested for August 13, 1962 for the inquirer and his wife. It too is SIGNED by Margaret Chase Smith. All items are clean and nice. Visitor checked off the sites in the brochure he and wife visited.
