Red cloth portfolio shows a small bit of wear to crown and tail of spine and a few small light stains to face. Decorated beautifully at face with black and gilt design. Folder opens to reveal a title page laid-in loose as per design, plus 12 original floral chromos in full color --all matted and in lovely rich colors accompanied by verse in German. There is no date, but a gift inscription inside top flap is dated 1912. Paper covering cloth at right flap has been reglued. The portfolio measures 6-1/4" across and 7-1/4" tall when closed. Not often seen.
