I am delighted to have found a few of these journals, as Dorothy Miner, a noted scholar on medieval illuminated manuscripts and taught by none other than the great Belle Da Costa Greene who acquired and maintained J. Pierpont Morgan's exquisite library, is on the masthead as editor. Dorothy was also the librarian and keeper of rare art and manuscripts. This is a hefty volume with lots to read. The main articles are: The Master of the Orleans Triptych; Gotto and Maimonides in Avignon; Italian Style in Catalonia; Among he Drurer Plagiarists; A Note on a Siense Resurrection; and Mice in Plague Pictures. There are also several smaller articles and info on exhibitions. Magazine is printed on quality coated paper and profusely illustrated with black and white photographs. Measures 8-1/2" x 11-1/4" and has 133 pages. Only fault is a few light spots of foxing at front and back page. Otherwise pristine with no names or writing.
