This offering is comprised of three booklets, each a reprint of the original held in the collection of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Gilder-Lehrman is a non-profit organization which seeks to teach American history. The titles are: "I Begin to See It" Abraham Lincoln to Ulysses Grant in 1864; "I Have Not A Wish to Mix Again in the Great World" -- George Washington Retires From the Presidency; and "One of the Noblest Wisest and Best Men" Frederick Douglas on Abraham Lincoln in 1880. All three are clean and bright with a superficial crease to top front corner of the Washington only . Booklets measure 8-1/2" x 11" and have a cumulative 38 pages. (History-2)
