No Visible Means of Support by Alta, 1971 (Feminist Poetry)

Price: $10.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Very good condition

Hard-hitting poems written during the womens' movement of the early 1970's. Raw and visceral, but also quite good. Chapbook's design displays an anti-establishment vibe with its back cover. The poet listed recent poems she had written, but the publisher (named)"hasn't paid me yet tho we signed a contract. Women in sexist society dig it." The poet founded the Shameless Hussy Press, the first of its kind, in 1969 and kept it going to 1989. Chapbook measures 7" x 8-1/2". Its very clean and tightly bound with no names or writing.
