The collector of this art exhibit was the descendent of the first Edwin Binney who created the crayon and began the venerable Binney & Smith crayon company. Edwin III had a passion for Turkish miniature paintings and manuscripts, as well as Asian art. Fifty-one items appear in this catalog, each photographed in black and white and well described. Catalog includes a bibliography for further reading. It measures 8" x 8-1/2" with 139 pages. No spine crease, no names or writing. Only faults are a small bump to the lower edge of front cover and a small bit of wear next to lower spine on back cover. Overall very nice.
