This is an older item about Cleveland, Ohio According to The Cleveland Encyclopedia, this P.R. project was the brainchild of Thomas Vail who edited and published the Cleveland Plain Dealer. There's no date that I can find here, so that was a great help -- it appears to be circa 1980sh.The booklets are titled "Are There Any Civilized Cities Left? A View From Cleveland" and "Will the U.S. Economy Still Lead the World in 1990? An Empathetic, YES from Cleveland." The booklets measures 9" x 10" and have 24 and 28 pages respectively. Both are in color with lots of photos and some interesting graphs in the financial booklet. Both fit handily in the silver slipcase.
