The loan exhibition stated in the title is a grouping of embroideries and coronation robes which was made possible by the "gracious permission of His Majesty the King". The exhibition had three purposes -- to show the long history of British embroidery and the prowess of both men and women. Of course the third one is the work of Royal School of Needlework carried out both in its Workrooms and in its Training Schools. The souvenir catalog measures 7-1/4"x 9" and has 56 pages. There is a crease to the lower back corner which I covered with archival tape to keep it from snapping off. Otherwise catalog is lovely with descriptions of all items.
