Book Condition: Very Good

Very nice books. Bright blue boards are quite clean with bright gilt at face and just a small bit of wear to corners and crown and tail of spine. Endpapers are likewise clean with no cracking to hinges. Pages have toned only faintly and book is nicely fitted with a clear rigid-plastic cover. Measures 7"x 8-1/2" and has 108 pages, plus back matter. The author was president of the New Brunswick Historical Society at the time of writing, shortly before the province's centennial celebration, and was considered the utmost authority on its history. He begins with the arrival of the Loyalists who departed New York after the American Revolution and proceeds forward, the text nicely accompanied by drawings of important people and sites. There is also a map at the front. Especially interesting to anyone pursuing geneaology are the lists in the back of the book of land grantees in both Parr Town and Carleton in 1783. 119 pages.
