What a charming little gift book this, part of the GemSeries. It's hardcover with no dustjacket and is tightly bound and clean as a whistle inside and out. The book is quite small at 3-1/2"x5-1/2", so it's a miracle not only that it's here, but that it looks so great too. There are no names or writing and the art is beautiful -- fashioned like an illuminated manuscript. The poem is perhaps a bit sentimental, but the last line is still remembered by many -- "The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face when I have crost the bar."
