This small pamphlet is one of a large collection prepared for, and sold individually at, the U.S.S.R. Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair. I have never been able to determine for sure how many pamphlets make up the entire set, but I currently have 19 and have records of an additional 21. They are priced according to subject matter and availability. All measure 4-1/2"x5-3/4". This one contains five black and white illustrations (three of which are photographs)and 24 pages relating the author's experiences while part of an expedition to the North Pole. All booklets are in English and are propaganda, some more so than others. The author of this one was a member of The Supreme Soviet of the U.S.S.R.. If you are looking for a specific title feel free to use the contact button and I'll see if I have it. Eventually they'll all get on here!
