This small pamphlet is one of a large collection prepared for, and sold individually at, the U.S.S.R. Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair. I have never been able to determine for sure how many pamphlets make up the entire set, but I currently have 19 and have records of an additional 21. They are priced according to subject matter and availability. All measure 4-1/2"x5-3/4". This one sports a metallic illustration on the front cover (shows a bit of rubbing along outer edge)and four interior back and white illustrations -- 31 pages. The emphasis of this one is the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, part of country's First Five Year Plan. All booklets are in English and are propaganda, some more so than others. The author of this one was a member of the Academy of Sciences of the U.S.S.R. and Deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the U.S.S. R.. If you are looking for a specific title feel free to use the contact button and I'll see if I have it. Eventually they'll all get on here!
