Two modern postcards, both scenes of Fort Ticonderoga. The card at the bottom shows the Ethan Allen Stairway, West Barracks and the one above shows the South Barracks, southeastern and southwest bastions, and flag bastion with the Adirondacks in the background. Both are unused with divided backs Full color -- glossy surfaces. Captain de la Place occupied the second floor room on the card with the staircase, located to the left of where thw soldier is standing. Ethan Allen demanded on May 10, 1775 that he surrender "in the name of the Great Jehovah ands the Continental Congress.
