I am fascinated by these sorts of little measuring devices -- can't let one pass me by. This one is not dated, but it's before zip codes which means it's from before 1963. It was made by Scully-Jones, designers and manufacturers of standard and special production tools, including tap and drill chucks, arbors, cutting tools, boring equipment, centers and more. This device is two sided, so it performs two functions -- providing a Morse taper number and the size of the taper per foot and per inch which is helpful for drawing them. The slide is in great condition and measures 4"x7-1/4" closed and twice the length when completely extended.
