From its spectacular red, black and gold cover art to its slick pages, large size, and terrific ads, this vintage British collectible magazine is a thing of beauty! It measures a whopping 10x14-1/4" and is clean as a whistle inside and out, marred only two small errant red marks to bottom front at gilt. Poems and stories abound, but it's the art and the ads that take the breath away. All are gloriously frameable if you can bear to cut the magazine. This edition is especially interesting due to its article on the post office packet service and the gorgeous paintings and history of Plymouth. Magazine has been beautifully preserved. If you love art and/or England it truly doesn't get any better than this. I started out with a stack of these -- this is one of two left.
