This French language booklet was published in Paris to tell the story of the 1938 Metro Goldwyn Mayer movie "Sweethearts" starring Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. Booklet is illustrated with black and white photos from the movie and measures 6" x 9" with 15 pages of text. It appears to be part of a collection of booklets telling the stories of romantic films. I have never see any of them, so this was an interesting find. The booklet is clean and tightly bound, bunddoes show some toning to the margins of the front cover.

The cover of this catalogue is a bit worn at the front cover as you can see with edge wear and small creases along the spine, none of which impinge on the binding. I almost passed it by, but when I saw the clean, bright pages and, best of all, the amazing people working on the season's operas.
