Very nice, clean crochet booklet from 1916 with wonderful ideas for crochet which could be adapted today. This is a really helpful instructional manual with much explanation and large bright photographs. It measures 6" x 9" and has 56 pages. It's clean and tightly bound with just a couple corner crease to cover. I have re-enforced them with almost invisible archival tape to keep them from snapping off. The projects are fabulous -- including a work basket with a lid, an open basket, a lamp shade, and a round box with a lid. This one's surprisingly hard to find and in quite good condition -- just a bit of isolated edge wear and a superficial crease to lower front corner to detract. No names and tightly bound. Illustrated throughout with pictures and charts. There is a little bit of penciled notation on one chart, but I left it because it may be helpful. If not, it would be easy to remove. There's also a slip of paper laid-in with other notes. The Speed-o-Knit was a knitting machine of the day.
