Very nice program for the races held at the Cumberland Municipal Airport May, 15, 16, 17, 1964. The event included the national championship and regional races. Previous owner penciled in notes for some races which could be easily removed, but you may not want to, as it shows who won etc. Program measures 8-1/2" x 11" and has 20 pages including a blank one for notes which is unused. Includes auto related advertising. Faults are these: a tear to bottom of spine which I repaired with non-browning archival tape on both sides and a small stain to one page. View More...
If you're restoring an old car there's nothing like the original manual to tuck into the glove compartment. Here we have not only the manual, but also the accompanying booklet about the car's emission control systems and their required maintenance and warranty information. Both measure 5" tall by 8" long and fit into their original blue plastic holder. The owner's manual shows some rubbing to blue cover and a small stain to side of text block which can be seen on the very edge of some pages inside. The emissions book is quite good with a light ring stain from a glass at back. Overall, both are... View More...

Stunning catalog filled with vintage cars which were the finest of their time and remain so today. Every page is in color printed on quality coated paper. Inside the catalog is a partial list of the cars which were to be sold. The sale doesn't appear to be an auction though, as they called it an exhibition sale. The oldest cars on the partial list were a 1929 Cadillac Dual Cowl Paeton and a 1929 Duesenberg J. Bohman & Schwartz Berline. The catalog measures 8-1/2" x 11" and has 14 lavish pages. View More...

Wow! What a great cover. But pretty though it is the date tells the story. WWII began in 1939 and would not end until 1945. Given such hard times -- food was rationed, as was gasoline, the country needed metal, gold, rubber and also other commodities for the war effort. America asked its citizens to help with money by buying Victory bonds. The catalog is really cool though -- it measures 5-1.2" tall and 12-1.4" across. Be sure to see the last photo which shows the engine. Catalog is clean and bright with no the features offered in the chassis. There's a tiny bit of edge wear at random spots ... View More...

Very nice, extensive travel guide to seeing Quebec by car. In addition to photos to entice travelers, there's much info on 55 routes, each with its own special charms. There are also two fold-out maps, both in excellent condition. The smaller one is of Quebec, the larger one shows the individual drives the driver can take. Guide measures 6" x 9" and has 294 pages. Book is tightly bound with only defect being some light creasing to corners -- overall it's nice. And yet there's one more good thing -- a brochure for motoring to Gaspe National Park and canoe trips on the Grand Cascapedia River. No... View More...
Crepe paper has long been synonymous with life's festive events and no one knew the business as well as the Dennison Manufacturing Company which set up shop in Framingham in 1897. Although the company merged with Avery in 1990, there was a time when the railroad that ran in front of its red brick buildings groaned under a heavy load of crepe paper in a rainbow of colors. This booklet uses strong graphic drawings to unveil a a parade of great ideas. It's clean and bright inside and out with no names or writing. Measures 5-3/4" x 8-1/4 and has 36 pages. View More...

There's some spotting to first two pages and and back cover shows a couple of the same as well as some residual soil. Normally I wouldn't have bought it, but the manual is tightly bound and quite good inside. But the best part is that it comes with extra goodies. Laid-in in a large folded two-sided sheet which tells you how to operate your Hydra-matic Drive, a pink paper titled Order Subject to Present and Future Government Regulations, AND the original bill of sale for the car. The car was sold to a man from Cleveland on March 30, 1951, an Oldsmobile 98 Deluxe Convertible coupe with this lis... View More...
