Very nice clean magazine which also served as a program for the city pilgrimage to the beautiful churches of Cleveland which opened with a reception on Friday, Sept 7 1990 and continued until October 14. The booklet is beautiful with many photos and diagrams and retains its advertising card. Articles include: The Forms of Cleveland's Sacred Structures, The Church of St. Stanislaus, Trinity Cathedral, Notable Stained Glass in Cleveland, Eric Mendelsohn's Park Synagogue and Old Buildings in New Environments. Other churches not mentioned above include Bethany English Lutheran Church, The Church... View More...

Gorgeous slick magazine that's oddly not seen that often. Glorious color photography prevails throughout and articles focus on the art itself rather than the how-to. Among the many topics are these: stained glass conservation, the architectural glass of Elizabeth Devereaux, contemporary Canadian architectural glass, the work of Leslie Perlis, Prairie stained glass, glass spheres and columns, Kolo Moser windows, the marriage of metal sculpture and leaded glass, and much more. Magazines are clean and tightly bound with just a small bit of wear to front corners of the green one (winter). View More...
This is one of the most charming trade catalogs I've had. It pairs beautiful glass animals with a song almost everyone knows and then tops it off with a great graphic on the front cover. It's a small catalog measuring just 6" x 6-1/2" with 28 pages printed on quality glossy paper. Each page shows a large black and white photo of an item with description and there is also an unused envelope laid-in provided by the company. View More...
Very lavish booklet commemorating the 150th anniversary of the founding of the church. Booklet is printed throughout on high quality coated paper with full color illustrations -- photographs of the physical building and its accoutrements. Book measures 7" x 10"-1/2" and has 80 beautiful pages. Text identifies and describes stained glass windows and other treasures. A lovely keepsake. Very clean and tightly bound. Only fault is a little edge wear at spots. View More...
Three Steuben Glass booklets, all of which are pristine with the exception of some light foxing to the front and back pages only on the Christmas catalog. Otherwise everything is crisp and bright. The largest one measures 6" x 8" and has 31 pages covering the history of the company and is illustrated with beautiful pieces. The gray booklet is not as elaborate than the others and is illustrated with small drawings to augment the company's hints for keeping your collection as new. But also inside are black and white photographs that show how Steuben glass is made. The booklet measures 6" square ... View More...
I love it when there's extra ephemera inside the main item. Here we have this unique catalog, plus an envelope which opens to be an order sheet and a price list. Everything is clean and bright and there are no names or writing. The catalog's animal theme is created in crystal. There were 58 pieces altogether, 32 of which are photographed and described in here. The catalog measures 5-3/4" x 7-1/4" and has 39 pages View More...
Beautiful color photographs and thoughts of those past and present. The quotes are mostly from women beginning with Clara Barton and the Civil War, followed by many women in WWII and one from Operation Desert Storm. There's also a few men inside including Bill Clinton and J.F.K.. The calendar is as clean and nice as to be new. Closed it measures 10-1/2" x 8-1/2" and has an extra page for January, 2010. Calandar has a hole for hanging. View More...

These archaeological booklets were printed in large numbers, but it is uncommon to find the first four titles together in clean, attractive condition. All are tightly bound and have no names or writing. Their titles are: Glass in Colonial Williamsburg's Archaeological Collections; Pottery and Porcelain in Colonial Williamsburg's Archaeological Collections; Archaeology and Wetherburn's Tavern; and The Wells of Williamsburg -- Colonial Time Capsules. All four were authored by Ivor Noel Hume and measure 6"x9" with a collective 189 pages. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos. Faults ... View More...
Handsome art catalog designed to showcase the intricate and beautiful glass works made by the artist Chihuly and held as the George T. Stroemple Collection. Thoughout the catalog are many large full color photographs, as well as smaller ones showing how its done. Chihuly designs, but it takes many people to blow the glass and fire up the kiln. The result is astounding. Catalog measures 9" x 11-3/4" and has 127 pristine pages. The catalog is very clean with no names or writing and no spine crease. Only fault is a plain white sticker inside the front cover which I am afraid to disturb. SHIPS FOR... View More...
These small architectural books are gems. Each one selects a single aspect of Wright's works. This one is for glass, another I've seen (bad condition) was about fireplaces. The book is not a true miniature, but it measures just 5-1/4" square with 57 pages and many gorgeous color photographs. Despite it's size, the text is not superficial. There is a lot of solid information here. Book is also clean and without names or writing. It also has no tears or chips and is protected by a brand new mylar cover. View More...
This is a pretty little book, perfect to be seen peaking out of a Christmas stocking. It has beautifully coated paper and color pictures throughout. The book measures 5-3/4" x 7-1/4" and has 80 pages. It's definitely a creative way of convincing buyers to collect the traditional glass ornaments. The first section is all about how they are made and tells a legend. Each page has a new design and altogether they compile this collection:bells, accordians, coffeepots, baskets. Christmas carp, weather frogs, birds, bird nests, cottages, mushrooms, Red Riding Hood, ladybugs, stars, chimney sweeps, ... View More...
This is a lovely exhibit catalog, top drawer in every way. It's hard cover, comes with a see-through dust jacket, includes a text available in Danish, English, and Japanese, AND every beautiful item is given full-color, full-page coverage. The catalog measures 8-1/2" square with 81 pristine pages on coated paper. The jacket shows a 1" tear to bottom back edge -- the only defect. I tried to put in in a mylar cover, but the picture on the cover promptly disappeared due to the white backing of the mylar. So instead I used a thin piece of archival tape on the back to close it. Very elegant catalo... View More...
This is an excellent instructional manual for stained glass artists, originally published in 1928 and reprinted here in 1978. There's a small loss of outer paper to bottom of spine, but otherwise booklet is clean, crisp and tightly bound. It measures 5-1/2"x7-3/4" and has 64 pages with black and white illustrations. Much information provided on the composition of enamel pigments and the preparation of silver stain, as well as separate chapters for painting and firing. View More...
