There's also news from the museum and a look at the Washington Hajji Baba, an organization for those interested in Oriental rugs. The paper cover is rather lightweight on this catalog, so it's no wonder it was a little loose. I re-enforced it with archival tape alongside the spine at the right hand side of the picture. It hardly shows. The catalog has fifteen pages in color and offers instructions. Crafters could buy kits with everything needed to make the ship rug (see photo) and other attractive designs. Very uncommon piece of ephemera in excellent condition. Cover and pages of this oversized piece are clean as a whistle inside and out. Glassine overwrap, hoever, shows a diagonal crease to bottom front corner, a thin line of browning from top to bottom at front and and a small hole and some chips to back edges.
