What a colorful and interesting scene this is. Not only does it show a handsome fire station, but also vehicles, fire fighters, and the horse power that fueled the machinery. The card shows a tiny bit of corner wear and writing on divided back. It was never sent, but it has been written on across the dividing line with no attempt at an address. The writing is a little hard to read, but the gist of it is the writer was busy with company and likes the recipient's choice of cards. Nothing too exciting there, but the picture at the front is great. Card will arrive in a brand new plastic sleeve. View More...
Great action image of the New York City Fire Department fighting a 1921 blaze. There's no indication as to what part of the city it was, as the reverse side shows no explanation, no message, and no postage. The back is not divided and the only writing is a penciled note which reads "N.Y. City Fire Dept, 1921" and a number, perhaps from an earlier dealer. The back also shows a bit of paper adhered to left hand side, likely from having been tipped into an album. Card is over-sized at 3-3/4" x 6". will arrive in plastic sleeve. View More...

The artistic design of this item is beautiful and unique, but the design also speaks to the story and the long trek of a young boy who tells of how he and his family become immigrants walking for miles and miles from home. The text is in an accordian style which is perfect for reminding th reader of how long a walk can be. After reading he boy's words the accordian goes back to its beginning and the boards can be tied with the ribbons provided. The "book" measures 6-1/2" x 12-1/2". very clean and nice with no defect of note. View More...

Very nice souvenir which offers information about the three prong memorial for the loss of Flight 93 on September 11, 20001. The chapel was already there and so was an Eastern Catholic priest, but the chapel is open to everyone, as are the guest house and the monument which came later. There's much text here, plus color photographs and has 39 pages measuring 6-1/4"x 10-1/2" [ RELIGION] View More...
