Wonderful oversized aviation magazine in excellent condition. Other than a small bit of wear to spine at middle section which does not compromise the integrity of the binding, and a few tiny edge creases at back, this one is really nice. Great vintage ads and lots of articles. Includes an article by Willie Ley entitled From Storch to ME 163. Other topics include tandem wings, camoflage models (miniatures), a mobile control tower, Northrop P-61 "Black Widow" and the Knight Twister. Beautiful color centerfold of the the Kingcobra. If you're restoring an old car there's nothing like the original manual to tuck into the glove compartment. Here we have not only the manual, but also the accompanying booklet about the car's emission control systems and their required maintenance and warranty information. Both measure 5" tall by 8" long and fit into their original blue plastic holder. The owner's manual shows some rubbing to blue cover and a small stain to side of text block which can be seen on the very edge of some pages inside. Love the graphics on these three beautiful Mazda car brochures from 1992. Wish I had the matching one about the trucks, but never ran across it. So we have a trifecta here, all measuring 9"x11-1/4". The white one has fourteen pages, and the others ten and six with all having info on the back cover which is equivalent to an extra page each. The two silver ones are very similar as you no doubt guessed, but different enough if you were looking for one or the other. Nice set.

What a handsome booklet this is! It's oversized at 8-1/4"x10-3/4" and has 58 pages. Beautiful drawings and a lengthy text explore marine technology through two seafaring journeys four and a third centuries apart. The material is divided into two parts -- part one covers the Victoria and part two The Triton. The entire booklet is nice, but the showpiece is the color fold-out map at the center of the booklet(see second photo). It's clean and tightly bound with no names or other writing. Only fault is a small dark spot at top edge of front cover.

Absolutely pristine inside and out -- really nice addition to a collection. The book has virtually no wear either inside or out and measures 4"x6". Inside the cover on the front pastedown is a statement that it belongs to the company, and is only loaned to the employee. Failure to return it resulted in a $1 fee subtracted from the employee's wages. The book is numbered 890, but was never issued to anyone. It's illustrated with a few small drawings used to augment the rules of which there are a whopping 1215 in 239 pages.

Here's a pair of Goodyear blimp items from Akron, Ohio, neither of which is dated. The postcard has a divided back, has not been used, and measures an oversized 5-1/2"x9". It's also a Plastichrome which is desirable to some collectors. It pictures the Goodyear air dock, the world's largest buildign with no interior supports. The photograph is an 8"x10" real photo of the blimp itself stamped with a number on the back. Together they're pretty nice!

A very handsome color view of Cunard White Star Line's steamer the R.L.M. Berengaria. This passenger liner was originally built for the Hamburg American Lines in 1912 and christened the S.S. Imperator. During WWI it saw a small bit of service as the U.S.S. Imperator where it was put to work transporting troops home from the European theatre. After the war it was given to Cunard as part of war reparations and from then on operated as the flagship Berengaria for the final ten years of its career. The card is very nice and clean. Love this one! A full color view of an early tourist ride in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The "incline car", as they called it, was built in 1907 to support the construction of a hydroelectric plant and its waterline. When that was done a Dr. Brumbach bought it as a tourist attraction. It was a steep 16 minute ride through the glories of the Colorado mountains. Sadly, it had to be abandoned after a rock slide in 1990. This is a unique offering -- a small 3" diameter metal sign for the B&O Railroad, offered in the 1950's as a premium for Post cereals. The collector who owned it paired it with three color postcards, one of which is dated 1967. None have been used or written on and all are in excellent condition.
