I have had these prints for years, but never listed them because the title is in Asian characters. I can't recall where I even got them, but they are quite handsome. There are supposed to be 16 black and white numbered prints, all portraits drawn with pencil, inside the folder and all are present. But here's the nice surprise -- nine other numbered prints in full color appear to have hitchhiked along. These apparently were at least a set of 10, but one is missing. Nine nice freebies aren't bad though! :-) The folder measures 7-1/2"x10-1/2" and is very clean, though toned. A previous owner also... View more info

There is a bit damage to this one, but I bought it anyway because the article about Japanese silk is fantastic! I'll get to that soon, but first you need to know that the upper corner of the last couple pages and the back cover corner were all creased up. I have been able to smooth it all out (see photos)-- we're talking just a couple pages at the back. One required archival tape before the corner fell off and one has a small loss of a corner. The cover just shows several creases at the corner. There's also a small bit of wear to both the top and bottom of the spine, but it doesn't impinge on ... View more info

I just found this array of fun things in a travel collection I bought a couple years ago. Everything was in the envelope with the restaurant advertising. The envelope, the card, and business card came from the China Quanjude Group which introduced the roast duck seen in the photo in 1864, during the third year of Tongzhi, Quing Dynasty. There's also a Boarding Card from the China International Travel Service, a small advertising card which lists the Chinese Dyanasties and the items which can be bought at the store, and lastly, two very attractive Chinese characters on beautiful paper. . . ....
