The colors are so vibrant in this crisp clean card which has never been written on or sent in the mail. I know it's from 1951 as it's actually dated. I had a card like this before with a poem called Sand In My Shoes, but this isn't it. This one says, "There is a saying in this land If your shoes contain its sand You will come back once more To its fair and sunny shore!" Well, if that's a truthful "crack" Its a cinch I'll soon be back 'Cause SO MUCH SAND is in MY PAIR I can PLANT POTATOES there! Card will arrive in plastic sleeve. View more info

I got all of these from an estate which dated back to WWI. Everything I bought was something that held meaning for the man who owned it. This trip to Florida appears to have been the vacation of a lifetime, as these are the only travel brochures he had. Only one brochure is dated, but it's easy to discern that they are all from the 60's due to the clothes and hairstyles and the phone numbers which have word prefixes. All are in color except the turnpike one and the Daytona Beach Shores. The latter has... View more info
